Petratto

The company began in 1976 as a natural evolution of Petratto Bookbinding and Paper, founded in 1938 by Louis Petratto. In 1971 , on the initiative of the current owner of the company, Giorgio Petratto, began the production of post-press machines, starting from simple bookends up to the most sophisticated machines available today. 1998 is the year of change thanks to new digital technologies; realized the first CORDOBA considered the spearhead of the company in creasing machines and folding machines.

In 2002 the flagship of the folder gluer was born, METRO , a modular and flexible machine. By virtue of its new folding and gluing system, opening a new technological path, launching the Petratto company in the international market. In 2015, Petratto expands its range of machines, introducing the new and innovative PDF74, fully automatic die cutting platen for small and medium runs. In 2016, the ECLIPSE was born, a die cutting machine that combines laser cutting with a completely new mechanical linear creasing concept.
