The BAUM 20 PFF is a heavyduty, highspeed pilefed folding system engineered for commercial printing, direct mail, and finishing operations. It combines a rugged steelframe design with a smooth, quiet helicalgear AC inverter drive capable of folding at speeds up to 8,200 in/min (≈208 m/min), handling sheets from 4″ × 6″ to 20.5″ × 33″. Key productivity features include a 7″ fullcolor touchscreen HMI, the Baum iFold Tutorial system (supporting 30 preprogrammed fold types, 80 job memory and onscreen guidance), and BaumQuick paperless roller gapsets for toolless roller pressure setup. It also includes variable and total batch counting, microadjustable fold plates with metric digital readouts, noncontact pile height sensing, dual front blow bars for sheet separation, and a mobile delivery stacker with adjustable height and extended collection length. The machine offers openaccess feed tables for easy setup and maintenance, realtime diagnostic messaging, and heavyduty removable slitter shafts, making it ideal for highvolume, precision folding applications.
