Insource Technology Summit: Day 1 a resounding success

On Thursday, December 1, several of the industry’s top manufacturer’s reps gathered at Insource’s Head Office and Showroom 85 Citizen Court, Unit 6, in Markham, Ontario for its free, first-ever Technology Solutions Summit. The event brings to Canada the world’s most up-to-date equipment covering mail processing, vision systems, digital print finishing, inkjet printing systems, short-run packaging, bindery finishing, and much more. There were also live equipment demos, one-on-one discussions and special equipment discounts, in addition to fine food and a constant stream of attendees looking – and finding – ideas and partners to boost their profits. The event continues December 2 & 3.

Friday, December 2

10 am: Adding profitable services and improving existing efficiency
Presented by Jim Williams of Kirk Rudy

In tandem with Apel, Cook will conclude the session with her presentation “A Cut Above: The Modern Life of a Digital Sheet.” She’ll discuss and demonstrate modern digital printing methods to maximize your print-finishing opportunities. 3:30 pm: Exciting opportunities in short-run packaging
Presented by Colin Johnson of Petratto
